A couple weeks ago, I wrote about how we all love the idea of making our backyard weddings, but there are so many questions and things that have to be figured out, and this post is all about what you need to know.
First, here are some things to remember when you’re thinking about your backyard weddings:1.
Be sure to put up the signs for your backyard.
I personally love this as a way to mark my backyard for future guests to see.
This can make your wedding special and make it even more special to the people who love your backyard!2.
If you’re hosting your backyard, get your neighbors involved.
This is an awesome idea to make a party for all your guests to enjoy.
The more people who are able to attend your backyard party, the more fun you’ll have!3.
Plan for all the extras you need.
This may not be a problem if you’ve been planning ahead, but if you haven’t, it can be a hassle.
This will give your guests a more intimate experience with your backyard and give you an extra kick to make the experience even more memorable!4.
If possible, put a ring on the backyard.
It’s a great idea if you’re having a backyard wedding or a reception.
This makes the backyard feel a little more magical and gives your guests more of a connection to the property.5.
If your backyard is going to be your only place to be, make sure your guests will enjoy it as much as you do.
Having your guests come to your backyard will make it feel more intimate and unique to your guests.6.
If having a reception or party is going a bit out of the ordinary, consider adding in some food and beverages.
This creates a more magical atmosphere for your guests and makes it more fun to be there.7.
If this is your first backyard wedding, you’ll want to make sure that you have plenty of supplies.
I love the little things that I can add to my backyard wedding to make it more memorable, such as hanging flowers on the windowsill, making a picnic basket for the guests, or using a water-based paint.8.
If doing your backyard on a weekend, make arrangements to have a couple of people stay with your guests on the weekend.
This gives you a little extra time to make your backyard look like it will be special.9.
Have your guests wear the same dress you plan on having your guests wearing.
It will make your guests feel like they belong and will give them more confidence in what they’re wearing.10.
Have a backyard party with your friends and family.
This has been a huge help for me and my guests when we’ve had a lot of guests.
If they can get the wedding together, I highly recommend it.11.
Have fun!
Have fun and don’t forget to have fun!12.
The last thing you need is to make everything too big or too big for your wedding.
This one is a little tricky, but you can do it if you want to.
If it’s a big party and you’re planning to hold a reception, have a big gathering at your home for the wedding, or a couple other events, then this is definitely a good idea.
