Posted October 03, 2018 03:20:38When a wedding groom gets married, his nails are typically manicured by a nail artist, but what if you don’t want to spend a lot of money?
That’s exactly what one young bride-to-be, Kim, did for her wedding nails.
Kim was a self-described “lazy nail artist,” so when she came across the “Glamorous Laundry” blog, she was interested in learning how to get her nails manicured.
Kim’s dad, Scott, was also an artist and the blog has become a big hit for Kim.
He told The HuffingtonPost he was “extremely happy” to see a new way to get manicured nail art.
“I saw that Kim wanted to do her nails herself, and I thought, wow, that’s awesome.
And she wanted to give it a shot.
I thought she was crazy,” he said.
Kim had already gotten a tattoo before her wedding, but she wasn’t sure if it would look like a wedding manicure, so she took the advice of her dad and put on some nail polish.
She said it worked well, and that the nail was the only thing sticking out.
“It was very natural and it had no sharp edges and the nail just kind of glided on.
And that was a really good feeling,” she said.
She decided to do another nail tattoo a few weeks later.
Kim said she loved the result and that she’s planning to do a wedding wedding nail tattoo.
“I’m excited for my future and it feels like a really big step forward,” she told HuffPost.
Kim said that the wedding nail art she received was more than she expected.
“There were a lot more details on it, so I was like, wow.
And I think that was kind of my reward,” she added.
It was a huge step forward for Kim, who said that she’ll probably do a tattoo again for her dad.
If you or someone you know is considering getting a tattoo, talk to a wedding stylist about getting one done with the guidance of a trusted expert.
