A bride-to-be in Florida recently had her engagement ring removed because she was having an affair.
The bride-of-two, who was reportedly in the process of purchasing her wedding ring at Target, received an email from Target explaining that the ring would no longer be available for sale after March 1.
“Due to a new arrangement with Target and a new set of laws regarding sexual harassment, we are not able to accept your ring at this time,” the email read.
The bride-for-life was quoted as saying that she was disappointed and “scared” that her engagement would be in jeopardy, because she felt that it was the right thing to do.
But the bride-by-day thought that the rings were worth it.
“[It] really wasn’t a big deal for me, really, really it was just something I wanted to do,” she said.
According to her fiance, the bride’s ring was purchased by the groom for her engagement day, and it was “a beautiful engagement ring” to wear at her nuptials.
“I think she got a really good deal on it,” he told WFTV.
“She was the one that gave me the call and told me that she would get rid of the ring for me.
I think she gave it to me for the right reasons.”
