The average cost of a wedding decoration is about $50,000 (£37,200), according to an article published on Sunday.
The article, written by the wedding decoration website, WeddingRentals.com, said the average cost for a wedding dress is $65,000.
The average cost per square metre for a balcony is about 3.5 times higher than the cost of the original design, it said.
The author, who did not want to be named, said this trend is due to the fact that the majority of weddings are over the age of 50.
The trend of wedding decor rentals is a sign of the increasing popularity of online services, said WeddingRental.com CEO, Matt Schlosser.
“They’re looking for affordable options to buy the original wedding dress or even get a cheaper price than the designer,” he said.
“A lot of these are custom made, they’re designed to make the bride look fabulous.
So that’s something that is being marketed as the modern wedding dress.”
He said that the increase in popularity of the online service also means that a lot of wedding venues are taking advantage of this trend.
“In the last few years, the wedding decor industry has grown, with the number of designers now doubling every year,” Mr Schlossers said.
He said the trend of the website and its guests finding cheap rentals online is encouraging businesses to offer more and better services.
“This is one of the things that’s keeping us here,” Mr Shlossers told Al Jazeera.
“We’re here to educate you and make sure you’re getting the right services.”
He added that online services are helping to keep the prices down.
“It’s all about the customer, but we want to make sure that when you go online you’re having the best service that you can get.”
The trend has been growing, according to the website.
In 2016, the average price of a bridal dress was $80,000, according of the article.
According to the article, the industry has also experienced a boom in the last 10 years.
“The internet is definitely helping to drive this growth,” Mr Alford said.
